I discovered Vanessa Mercedes through a friend of mine who invited me to a lounge where she was having a fashion show. My friend new I would love her stuff. She was right! The entire collection was to die for! She had a coat that was amazing with lime green and black lace as well as beautiful party dresses. She has an interesting blend of vintage vibey pieces but with a modern girlie twist. I got a chance to meet Vanessa after the show to see where I could buy her stuff and she told me that her pieces are sold on her online boutique as 'made to order' pieces and are all made in New York . I have placed an order for that coat and should get it this week! It is so great to actually talk to the person who designed what you ordered and get to see the creative force behind it. I also love her jewelry which she also makes herself. She also takes appointments at her studio for special order dresses for weddings/events. I'm going to order a special dress for my sister's wedding! All around great service, communication and products!
