I saw Dr. Chen for a second opinion concerning replacement of a canine tooth I unfortunately lost due to trauma. I have an extremely high smile line and a lot of gum recession in the area, leading to a cosmetically challenging case. Following a discussion of my concerns, I received the most thorough and detailed evaluation I have ever received in my life. The head, neck and oral cancer screening was incredibly thorough. The number of measurements taken was a bit mind boggling, but definitely understandable due to the tooth to be replaced and the load it bears. I could sense how incredibly focused Dr. Chen remained during her evaluation, truly studying my teeth/bite and how they function. Following Dr. Chen’s evaluation I was given three options. Each was explained in detail. The functionality, the pros and cons of each plan, which would be the least invasive, and of course which would be the most cosmetic. Dr. Chen listened to my wishes and my concerns. I left her office with the utmost confidence, knowing I will have my tooth replaced, and it will look cosmetically pleasing. If you are looking for a dentist that puts you first, listens and respects your choices on treatment, takes time and is not a corporate office, look no further.

She has a strong network of specialists and referred me to an excellent Periodontist who took a thorough and urgent approach to my problems. Dr. Chen followed up on my treatment and care with every specialist she referred me to. If I had not seen Dr Chen for help, my prognosis would have been much worse. I found Advanced Dental Restorations and Dr. Chen after my front teeth broke off of my upper implant dentures that were made by a different doctor. After being told there was nothing my previous doctor could do for me and I needed to find a prosthodontist, I was thrilled to find Dr. Chen's team. Dr. Chen is amazing and truly listens to everything you tell her as a patient. She also takes in all of the information you provide, plus measurements and data she collects during the examination and thinks about it all thoroughly before giving an answer or a resolution to the problem at hand. I found this to be refreshing and comforting to know she is methodical and very particular in how she performs her craft. There was not a single time throughout my treatment where I felt unsure about how I was going to be cared for by the staff at Advanced Dental Restorations. I am pleased with the end result of my upper teeth and the quality of work that was done to remake and correct the appliance I was provided by my previous doctor. I will be returning to this office again in the future when the time comes to have my bottom teeth done. I am confident I will be well cared for by Dr. Chen and her staff and I know I will have top quality work to show off when I smile.

She is the first dentist who on first meeting gave a thorough physical examination not only of my teeth but also the oral cavity and the head and neck. She is light-handed, skillful, and knowledgeable. She gives more than sufficient time for the treatment proper, for questions and answers, and other random questions or clarifications that may come up. I never feel that she needed to hurry my treatment or that I need to rush and get in all my concerns. She takes time to make sure I understand the treatment options and all the necessary information to decide.
