Went into the ER back in April, for lower rib pain and spasming in my abdomen. They did an X-ray, found nothing, sent me home with muscle relaxers and anti-inflammatory drugs. Told me to come back if the pain kept on, diagnosed me with costochondritis. I came back two days later still with pain & just my head swimming from trying to take the pills.. they took my vitals and sent me straight home with pain still.... I finally got into my family doctor a month later and he ordered an ultrasound, the following week when it was preformed they found gallstones and figured out it was my gallbladder. I ended up going to the ER another three times, with severe pain and worsening spasms by the day. Just wanting it removed, they kept on giving me pain killers (oral and through IV) and sending me home, it got to the point where I luckily had gotten an appointment with my surgeon in June and he called WMC ER (Winchester Medical Center) & sent me straight there where they removed it the same day.

The staff was absolutely amazing. ER was full but they were both quick and patient with me. I have a mild hospital phobia and my nurse Jessie and Dr. Johnson, even tho they were crazy busy, were kind and compassionate with me every step of the way through repairing a bite that I had that needed stitches. Feeling very grateful to you both, thank you very much!

Professional capacity is next to zero, when asked to speak to a higher up, was placed on hold for 5 minutes, then when phone was picked up, heard a “just hang up on them” before a dial tone. Very immature for a being our front line of defense.
