The last words from the installer were \You need a roofer.\ I inquired of Woodstove Fireplace if this was an acceptable installation. They replied the installers were unfamiliar with the roof system and did the best they could. The roofing system is rolled roofing. They patched the flashing with snow and ice shield. This material was not designed to stand up to weather. If I do nothing, eventually I will have a leak. I don't recall the installers inspecting the roof when they estimated the job. And they certainly didn't tell me I need a roofer when their work was done. After spending x,xxx on the stove and installation, I have to spend xxx to finish the job they should have finished.

We bought a stove from Barry and team in the summer of 2019. We had a great first winter with it but noticed that the enamel started to crack after the first 3 months of use. We called Barry and he handled it the only way it could be. He assured us that he would take care of it without a cost to us. This happened at the beginning of the pandemic, but Barry and team were proactive in their communication with us and flexible with the scheduling of the fix. Manufacturing flaws happen and while it is frustratingthey can only be addressed with excellent customer service. That is where the retailer comes in. Barry and his team picked up the ball. We tell everyone if they are in the market for a wood or gas stove to go to Littleton Stove Shop.

Barry (owner) was wonderful to work with on our fireplace renovation. We replaced a wood burning fireplace with a gas insert. We shopped around and he was the most informative, the least 'salesy' and had reasonable prices. Things happened the way he said it would and his installation people were just as timely and pleasant as he is. I would easily recommend Woodstove & Fireplace Shop.
