I went here with my 6 and 3 year old. They both loved it. Here are some details which I learned when I got there: entry is free! Any fish caught CANNOT be released. All fish must be terminated as quickly and humanity as possible. All necessary tools needed for this unpleasant task are provided. Staff are on hand if needed. Fishing poles are available for rent, if prefer you can also bring your own. So, what do you do with the fish you catch!? Obvious answer is eat it/them. Each kilo of fish is 21-23 CHF depending on breed. When we were there the only fish permitted to be caught were very healthy looking trout (rainbow). We paid 33.50 for the 1.5kg trout my 6 year old caught. Having this fish, gutted, fillited, grilled for 3 adults (battered for the kids x 2) chips and 1 ltr of soft drink was 95 CHF in total. Eating your own fish is the cost of the fish 13 CHF per fish. Another, so, moment. What can you expect when you get there? There is a lovely open terrace overlooking the carp pond. A large pond approx 70m x 25m a frog pond and then a much deeper but smaller large fish pond. At an estimate all fish in this pond are 1kg The first pond has lots of half kg to 1kg fish. There are nice walkways between the lakes, plenty of seating areas, a barbecue, two kids play areas with swings and lots of shaded areas.

Great place with good food.
Really great place to spend the morning or afternoon. The fishing park is stocked with everything you need. They provide bait and tackle, or you can bring your own gear (only non - barbed hooks are allowed). You also get a stun stick, a bucket, knife and pliers to pull out the hook. There are two ponds, both man-made. The larger pond holds the smaller trouts, while the smaller pond holds the larger fish (\u003e2 kg. I reckon). You pay a fixed price for the gear and bait, and pay for the fish you catch (per kilo). They offer the options of cleaning, fileting and vacuum-packing your fish fit take-away, for a little extra cost. Alternatively, they also offer to cook whatever you caught in several different dishes. There's also swings and ride-on toys for the younger ones. All in all, great fun for the whole family (and the fish is probably cheaper than at the supermarket)!
Nice place, nice atmosphere, beautiful surroundings. Perfect for a family!
Fun, food, and fish! Great for a family outing and lovely lunch.
