World of Tiles renovated our bathroom about 18 months ago & while we’re relatively happy with the look of the bathroom, there were a lot of problems along the way. They would never tell us when they were coming to work on it but would just turn up at the most inconvenient times sometimes as late as after 5PM. The tilers left such sharp edges that the Chippy had to come & file them down & add silicon so that we didn’t cut ourselves. They also laid them with the pattern both horizontal & vertical. They wandered around our kitchen, helping themselves to the microwave without invitation, smoked inside, spent loads of time on their mobiles then unpacked outdoor chairs we’d bought as a gift & sat on them marking them with cigarettes & food stains. They also wanted to cut the tiles inside the house & when we saw the mess they made of our cars & everything else in the garage we’re glad we didn’t allow it! The re-installation of our vanity left us with a slow water leak inside the cabinet that we didn’t notice for days. We had to replace the back wall of the cabinet and the shelf. In May last year, 6 months after purchase, the soft-close toilet seat lid failed for no apparent reason (we have a much cheaper one on our other toilet that still works so we know how to use them). We have been waiting for a replacement for nearly a year, we even said we’d pay for it although it should have been under warranty at that time but not now. We don’t know the brand or size so can’t source it ourselves. Kept trying to talk to their showroom boss but she was NEVER available when we called and NEVER returned our calls as promised by her staff. Now they’ve shut up shop and disapppeared from the Brookvale premises. For a while there was a message saying they were relocating & would advise clients of their new address & contact details. Now it just says number disconnected & no longer available. Don’t touch them if they ever turn up again! I’d give them less than one star if I could.

Don't waste your time with World of Tiles. They made us wait 5 months for a vanity with empty promises. They caused inconvenience not only us but the trades we had lined up as well. The frustration and stress that was caused was certainly not worth it. I would go up the road and choose another tile shop or even Bunnings so you don't get bullied by the husband.

Empty promises. Friendly front, but very disappointing. After making a deposit and having someone to our house for a quote no quote was passed on to us. Very difficult to get in contact with once money was handed over.
