I've been a customer in the past and always received great service. I personally did not vote for the current administration and my opinion is my own, but this isn't a political platform. I'm sorry to see a small business close, especially one that supports the arts and is located in yet another Chicago neighborhood that has fallen victim to over-gentrification. Best of luck.

Really quite simple. There's lots of places to buy a clarinet. I don't care to support you financially. Just like the NCAA doesn't want to do business in the state of North Carolina. Don't like it? It's your right to leave. Looks like a mutual parting of the ways to me. You have every right to complain to Crain's. I have every right not to sympathize with your plight.

Haven't shopped at your store but I am giving you five stars for your courage and tenacity in the face of so much bigotted, narrow-minded hatred of diverse political opinions. What has become of our democracy when intolerant folks who don't agree with us can actually insult us and affect our livelihood? Reminds me of fascism, not democracy, and I hope that as you read hateful comments on this site you'll know that it isn't personal -- and frankly, it probably isn't even political -- but the hatred of the left comes from some deeper, darker space than then mind. May you have peace and surety as you navigate through this difficult part of your journey, and may you have many blessings as you branch out into your next ventures. For a so called "world music store", it seems like a conflict of interest that the owners are in support of our bigoted, racist president. How are we supposed to have a diverse, world music community when they support the exact opposite values that would foster that scenario. A real shame, Chicago is really REALLY lacking after the end of Andy's.
