I can't thank Carolyn and colleagues enough, I came into the shop not knowing what I wanted, except it had to be light as getting married abroad, they helped me find the perfect dress and I have to say I felt liked a princess on the day. I had a wonderful wedding and many compliments on my outfit, I cannot praise Carolyn enough and highly recommend her to any further brides.
A few of my friends have recently been to her shop in Worthing and we all vary in different sizes. From their experiences some of them haven't been treated all the same. The way she assumes peoples sizes by just looking at their body type has made people upset and unhappy with her service. She has personally made people feel bad about themselves. Some people are not skinny and they have a lot more curve on their body. From the way she treated people because they look like a size 16 or they look like a size 6 is not how someone should work their shop (and no i am not telling her how to run her shop i am simply suggesting) No one looks a size, they are one and her assuming that they are a bigger size or some of the comments she said might have come out differently to how she wanted it. I personally have not been to her shop but from the people that have, i know 3 girls that have cried because of their experience in your shop and they all felt insecure after. I am not writing this because of my sake, i am doing this to let her and everyone know that the way she runs her shop is creating a great amount of unhappy customers. I am just saying maybe the comments she said could be and have been perceived differently.
I bought a prom dress for my daughter in June 2019, the quality of the dress we received wasn't the same my daughter tried on. When I mentioned the problem (the dress my daughter tried on fitted her much better then the one we received) I heard a very rude reply that if I wanted a dress made according to her measures I would pay a fortune, 295 I paid for it wasn't exactly cheap!
the ladies there were so sweet and polite made me feel really comfortable and understood what I was looking for. I didn't feel insecure about myself at all and everyone there made me feel really good. A very positive place to find beautiful dresses
