Mixed feelings about this place. It is new and in good repair, but it's in Wray. I'm just a tourist here but a hotel charging 150 in Wray just is insane. But people pay it. Next the location kind of sucks, to far to walk into town, and aside from a sand dunes, there's nothing around it. Finally, it just kind of seems sad. I'm just a tourist, but it seems the cream of the crop of the citizenry of Wray, and every other town and city out here, gets out of town at the first opportunity. What's left are the people that didn't have the wherewithal to make a go of it in Denver, and now are stuck in Wray, smoking their cigarettes and dreaming one day to visit a Starbucks. Breakfast was OK.

Super overpriced! If that's not enough of a rude awakening moldy oranges and expired prepackaged hard boiled eggs await you at "breakfast".

This was a super experience. Very friendly staff. Got a whirlpool suite. It was very clean and the whole place looked brand new. They had a mini bar set up in the lounge next to the office. We enjoyed a nice adult beverage there lol. They had a killer breakfast. Eggs, (good quality) bacon, toast, waffles and so on. I will definitely be coming back here! FIVE STARS!!

My 79-year-old husband was having major surgery in the Wray hospital. I reserved a room for two nights. I was at the hospital waiting for the doctor to come see me, when the motel called and told me they had double booked my room, and I needed to get my belongings out. No apology, no expression of regret, just cold demands. I explained that I didn’t want to miss talking to the surgeon, and asked if they could wait and let me clear the room after I saw him. She rudely and adamantly refused, and belligerently insisted that I remove my belongings immediately. I was already experiencing a great deal of stress; they didn’t care that they were adding to it. It would have been unconscionable to treat anyone that way — to do it to an elderly person already dealing with anxiety was absolutely uncalled for. They were inconsiderate, disrespectful, unprofessional and mean. If I ever have to stay in Wray again, I will stay in the sleaziest dump with a compassionate staff before I would consider the Cobblestone.

It was nice enough, no elevator which wasn't a big deal with it only being a couple floors tall. Internet had an issue first night but was better the second night (latency was 196). Wouldnt second guess staying here if I pass through again.

Would have been a better stay if not for the flies in my room and the slow and intermittent internet access.
