If you own a boat this is a good spot to avoid the crazy high parking at Wrightsville Beach. Although in the summer getting a spot can be hard and competitive. Besides that, it's a good spot to tie up for a couple hours grab a couple drinks or some food on Wrightsville and see the sights. There are also public bathrooms nearby.
It's good to see a town embrace public beach access!
Free day dock in Wrightsville Beach is a real treasure!
