Let me say that I typically reserve my reviews for businesses that either exceed or fall below expectations. Morton Pool Solutions has been the single best organization I have worked - period. I have now used Rick for multiple jobs, but I want to point one out specifically. I contracted with Morton Pool to replace my old coping and put in a nice pebble pool finish which came out fantastic. Over the course of the next year, I noticed some of the flagstone coping not holding up as expected (completely normal as these are natural stones with differing compactness). Rick came back out to my house several times, and worked with me throughout the next several months. His own conclusion was that he wasn't happy with that stone batch, so he replaced at his own cost. With any other agency, I would've been fighting this tooth and nail, but the stone wasn't holding up to Rick's high standards, so there was no fuss at all. I appreciated this so much, I hired him on the spot to build a beautiful grotto waterfall for me which turned out better than expected. Rick has returned every call and text, has extremely competitive prices, performs outstanding builds and stands behind his work. I will absolutely continue to do business with Rick until the day he retires.

Don't use this company. The owner, Rick Morton, tried to play the old bait and switch on me. He quoted me months ago for the pool plaster and tile replacement. Now that I am ready to move forward, I informed him that I was going to pass on the tile replacement since his price was hundreds more now. As we were working out the details and a start date, He informed me that he only figured removing 60% of the plaster and that after they got started he may need to adjust the price for removing the other 40%. This didn't come up until after I declined to use his company for the tile replacement. I told him I had several estimates and none of the other companies mentioned this possible increase. He told me that that's because the other companies were going to sell me the job and tell me in the middle of the job that it was going to cost more. \The old bait and switch\ he called it, which is exactly what he was trying to do to me. I never ask him to cut cost by removing only 60% of the plaster, nor did he ever mention this in any of our conversations going back to last year. I feel he simply figured out a way to up charge me because he wasn't making the profit off of the tile work. He could have been honest about it, but instead made up some last minute story before I agreed to his original price. I have the text which tells the whole story. Very shady.
All around great experience! Rick was on time and on schedule every step of the way and we're exceptionally happy with the outcome. Water was taken out Friday morning and by noon the next Thursday job complete! No complaints and would happily call again.
Rick was professional from the beginning. Choosing a new interior can be challenging. Rick was very supportive and provided past customers that we could go onsite to view their pools and finishes. That was huge in deciding how to move forward. Rick was supportive and ready to go on our timeline. The workers did a fantastic job throughout and ensured everything was cleaned up afterward. Finally, the communication was perfect. Always had updates every step of the way and set times people were coming and going. I absolutely would use Morton Pool Solutions again when other projects arise.
Rick Morton has worked hard to build a reputable in ground pool remodeling and services company that we trusted from day one. We got quotes from eight pool companies, yes eight, and reviewed all quotes over and over. We went back and forth with a few companies including Rick Morton’s. We made the choice to do business with Rick due to his honest matter of fact no pressure sales manner. We had so many ideas from the get-go! Rick listened to every one of them, and helped us make decisions all while sticking to our budget. He even sent us updated quotes the same day, every one of the ten times we changed our mind. In the beginning, Rick estimated our project would take anywhere between 4-6 weeks. Our project was big. We replaced the deck, coping, tile, aggregate plaster, entire plumbing system, electrical, pump, added a love seat, and turned the spa into a huge tanning ledge with two bubblers. Best decision ever! Our pool is about 35 years old and was going south quick, having only had the plaster redone in 2008. Our project only took 4 weeks, thanks to great weather and excellent crews. Our backyard is now something of a dream. We feel like we’re somewhere else it’s so beautiful. Call Morton Pool Solutions today!
