Centrally located. Much of Wurzburg is walking distance. Reasonable price and great restaurant attached to hotel. Staff friendly to Americans.

Stayed here for e nights in a superior room. Very comfortable bed, room is very spaces. With ample storage space. The room is out to the main road, with bars and pubs nearby. But the windows filter most of the noise out. So you are still able to get a good night sleep. I should know as I am allergic to anything disturbing my sleep. The hotel isn't that far away from the old town and shops. Breakfast is typical with your bread rolls, cold meat etc. Coffee is very good. Would we stay here again: Yes.

Good place to stay here. Staffs are very good. Rooms are spacious enough. Have very nice natural scenes around.

The good: Great location and price. Room was good sized, clean and comfortable with standard euro 2 twins pushed together. Plenty of towels. Old building with newer furnishings. Small lift. We had a third floor room and it was a bit noisy from the city street/bar a few doors down, but we like to sleep with window open, so it was our choice. The bad: Staff is either really nice or really rude. They seem to turn off hot water in the afternoon/evenings. Seriously could only get lukewarm after letting tap run a good while. There was hot water in the morning for shower, yay! Cannot drink tap water, so bring your own. You have to beg at front desk for a small amount of ice and only if they feel like getting it for you (I needed to ice my knee, not for drinks). I was only able to get ice once in the 3 day/2 night stay. Different excuses, exasperated looks and grumblings from 3 different staff at varying times of day. Tried to get a pot of tea to take to room (no coffee maker or microwave). Was told they could give me a single glass of tea but then literally rolled their eyes when I said I wanted 2, hence the request for a pot. I said, nevermind I'll go look for a take away place. Gal just immediately started talking to German speaking man asking for beers for his room. She was all smiles with him. So come for the location, which is perfect if you are traveling by public transport, but don't expect to be welcomed if you are from out of country.

We booked a room at the last minute, and it turned out to be a rather small one, singularly lacking in ambience. We requested an upgrade and were offered a "suite". This was OK, but as other reviewers have mentioned, the whole place needs redecorating. The style is rustic, but it's tired. The central location also means that it's noisy at night. On the plus side, the staff were friendly and breakfast was comprehensive.

I'd say good location, maybe a little more expensive, thou I'm not sure if they included breakfast in the price, we just barely slept here and left early morning the next day. Parking is very challenging on the narrow streets around, however there is an underground garage just under the neighbor building, and they give you a discount.

Simple hotel, but you get everything you pay for. Rooms were clean, breakfast buffet was large and good, staff was very kind and helpful. Location is good, close to the city and close enough to the central station.
