This is the BEST restaurant I have ever eaten at in Japan. Number one, hands down. It is not cheap, with meal plans ranging from about 3000 yen to 6000 yen. But the food is shoujinryouri (monk food), and it is all healthy, beautifully prepared, and super healthy. And there are so many dishes. Plants of amazing and delicious food come out for over 30 minutes. It's out of this world! If you want to show someone what Japanese food is, this is the place to take them. They will have an unforgettable experience. Quick note. Since it is monk/temple food, there is no meat, since monks can't kill animals. All vegetarian.
