Nice woodland walks and a beach, but not much else to offer. Then again we came at a time when the model railway was closed, which might have added a star. The walks had some nice things to look at along the way at least. The Fort itself is somewhat underwhelming but there are some nice places to spend money built inside the arches.

Pros: The views at the location were great. There are toilet facilities available. There is a cafe too. Cons. Everything else just disappointed me. Everything that was modern at Fort Victoria looked old and dated. The shop was full of novelty tat. A lot of money and fresh ideas need investing in the area to make it worth the visit. Edit: in response to the owners response. I appreciate that there were areas that have been impacted by Covid. I can only score based on my experience and I truly wish the best for next year. I will visit again in 2021 and review my feedback and score.
Grass lawn to the seafront with some bbq stations and a roof promenade with great views especially during yacht_racing days. Kick off spot for rough beachwalking, and great trails up through the woods, fairly ample parking
A brilliant place to take the kids! Played on the rope swings, explored the forest and searched for all the wooden animals. Brilliant.
Lovely views, nice beach (pebbles), excellent cafe serving great food with a sea view.
