We contacted these guys about an issue of our belt tensioner and airbag light going on after I got a stick stuck under the carriage pulling on some wires. These guys were professional, fit us in to have a look on the same day, cleared the codes and we were right to go. ANY future time we need some fixes we are definitely coming here. ABSOLUTE LEGENDS. Can not recommend enough after this experience!

Two Around The World

6 and a half hours of my time I won't get back. I wanted the air con clutch replaced but they went ahead to find a 'different diagnosis' to investigate without our permission. Not once did we receive a call to tell us they were going to take the gas out of the air con instead. My own mechanic back home told us it must be the clutch, so we would have taken it elsewhere for a second quote. We were intially told on the phone it would be a couple of hours so went to the nearby shopping centre to wait. We called for 'no update' so after four hours (!!) we went there ourselves to find the car parked outside in the car park (unlocked too, with all our personal belongings inside) because they had started working on someone elses car when ours wasn't finished. If we hadn't have seen that i wonder if they would have charged us for the time too. Person at the desk was really rude and not reassuring at all, refusing to give us any estimation of the cost. Wouldn't let me see the gauges for proof either, because 'i don't know how to read gauges'. Not only this, they were supposed to be replacing my steering fluid reservoir too- and my fuel cap cable. Previously the reservoir was agreed on the phone for our appointment. Somehow 6 and a half hours meant they couldn't have done either of these. Waste of my time and money. Now I have to find another mechanic in the small time I have left in Darwin.

I didn’t have a good experience with Prestige. As I do not understand much about cars I prefer just rate with stars as my experience. Monique is really friendly and I really believe she wanted to help me, however after more then a month I drove back home still with a broken car and less money in my bank account.
