My visit felt rushed and impersonal. I'm not just a number or statistic, I'm a person. Testing was rushed and the assistant was short and borderline rude. The doctor failed to give information until pressed with questions. Even then, the impression was that my questions were a bother and there was an attitude of why am I questioning anything. Billing was also an issue since it's a third party handler. I was not given an estimate of cost for the recommended procedure. I was told that I have to do the procedure regardless of cost. Very unacceptable! I left very unhappy with the service.

After wearing glasses since age 7, and dealing with contacts for years, I finally have amazing vision. It's been almost two months now since visiting the Yavitz Eye Center and I couldn't be happier with the results. Just a short regimen of drops and keeping my eyes moisturized, and I only took 2 days off work. As my eyes healed over the first two weeks my eyes went from good to great. 10/10, would recommend.

Just had Lasik surgery on 11/16/2016. Have worn glasses my whole life and had additional money in my health flex saving account that had to be used prior to year end. Researched different places locally and felt this was the right choice. The office is a little tricky to locate if your not paying attention to the location as it is accessible from a side street and not Perryville itself. The parking is ample and my pre-op appointment was in the morning and then shortly after the procedure was completed. Doctor Yavitz and his staff were great and answered all of my questions. Doctor Yavitz took time to explain the procedure and make me feel comfortable with the process and what to expect for recovery. Went back the next day for the post-op appointment which they got me right in and then spent more time with me to answer questions. They tested the effectiveness of the surgery and now my vision is 20/20. Cant beat that! Stopped using painkiller drops at the end of day two and my eyes no longer are sore. Watched a little TV that night without the aid of glasses or contacts for the first time ever. I have been instructed to use the moisturizing drops for the next month which I plan to do. Overall very happy with the experience and glad I listened to others in selecting Doctor Yavitz. Nice office, great doctor, perfect results.
