Sales staff and Installers were knowledgeable and did an excellent job. Cleaned up nicely after the job and arrived exactly when they said they would. We used this wood burning unit for the past winter to help heat our home and we couldn't be happier. This unit is located on the main floor of our 2 story home. Because we used it so much, the furnace rarely turned on and our basement became quite cold. When we contacted them about our problem, they suggested a blower system that brings the warm air from the unit into the basement. Yet again they arrived on schedule and did a very professional install. Now our basement stays nice and warm just as much as the rest of the house!!! I would definitely recommend this company and Ye Olde Hearth Shoppe

I just received the best customer service I've experienced in ages! Like the reviewer below, we had Ian and his coworker here to sweep the chimney. They were courteous, explained in detail how our unit works, what they did to clean the chimney, discussed a small repair that may need to be addressed down the road, and all with a smile. A hand shake and thank you for our business once payment was made was appreciated. Just don't see this often enough anymore so this prompted me to write a review! Would highly recommend them and will be our go to chimney guys for years to come!
The two guys that came to my house were very friendly and answered all of my questions easily. I had called earlier in the day asking to juggle the time and they readily helped me by changing my appointment time to accommodate me in my day. Yes, they definitely did the job that they were asked to do with my fireplace, but the thing that I noticed even more what is their professional and friendly attitude when dealing with me the customer. It was refreshing to be treated so nicely by these hard workers. Another thing that struck me was when they left, the lead guy reached out to shake my hand. I remember him apologizing because his hand was dirty from working all day. I on the other hand, thought about how he been working hard all day and his hams showed this. In this day and age I was honoured to shake the hands of someone who is such a hard worker, and who was so concerned with being sure to give good customer service. I wasn’t afraid to shake the hand of someone who was so professional, kind, and I gladly took it and shook it. I would definitely have them back. Was his name Ian? I wish I could be sure but I can’t remember his name just who he was. Because that’s what struck me the most. Thanks guys!
They cant keep staff, its a revolving door. Ian does not work there anymore, so ignore the glowing reviews regarding his service. Also, Scott Rayner is the owners son and works there, so disregard that review as well. Fake review with fake response from owner.. any indication? Dishonest business tactics. With that considered, their REAL rating is terrible.
Twice I've used them for repairs and both times it's been great service from the women answering the phone to the two guys doing the actual work. Friendly and helpful at all times!
When this company was owned by the original guy it was awesome . It is not now. They do a poor job, send bad people and over charge and also do not get back to you --- ever . I will find another company with professional people .
Very professional and taught us all about our fireplace.. do's and dont's...highly recommened
It took 6 months for this company to order a part and it still has not been installed. I have called evey week and nothing at all has been done. Last time we wi be using them for any service.
