Great experience! Went ice fishing and dog sledding. Even got to ride behind a snow mobile! It was an amazing experience. We were also treated with food by the hosts, which was delicious. Served hot beverages. Even though we couldn't actually do the ice fishing ourselves, it was interesting to see how they did it. Staff were friendly.

Fun ride. One of a kind experience. Beautiful. Just concerned about the dogs well being. Locked in cages by chains in the cold, their water is frozen. Dogs used for money. But good ride.

A good experience. They pick you up from your hotel and drive you to the point of embarkation, pardon the pun. I did the drive your own sled operation. It was great. I met the owner and he gave me examples of multi day tours, which I'm interested in. This is a user friendly experience, just show up and off you go. This is the second time I've dogsled. The first time in Fairbanks they had me get the dogs from their doghouse, put the harnesses on and hitch them up in the order that was written down, and then after the experience I had to unhitch the dogs and put them back in their area. Maybe they could have an option like that? But, if you just want to jump on a sled, this is for you. Ultimately, come and give this a whirl, take pictures, post them on your social media and make your friends say, "I've always wanted to do that!" You'll be the one who did go dogsledding for real!

Easy way to try dog sledding. They take you by bus to a frozen lake and you run around the circuit if you drive your own team. The dogs know the way by heart. Dress warm and encourage your pups!

We booked the aurora viewing tours for two nights and also a 'you drive' dog sledding tour. The cabins were pretty packed when all 15-20 people on the tour were inside. The staff take really nice photos for you that you can get the next morning on facebook (thanks for the awesome picture!). The dog sledding says 45 minutes but the actual ride is much shorter (maybe 15 minutes) but the time you spend waiting for the next dog sled team and having hot chocolate makes up the additional 30 minutes. That being said, 15 minutes is more than enough in the cold wind and it was very fun :) Would recommend checking it out!
