Had an amazing experience in Yellowstone! Chris was knowledgeable about all types of flora & fauna. He was very forthcoming with tons of fun facts about The park and it’s inhabitants. Because of Chris’ expertise we were even lucky enough to see a pack of wolves in their natural habitat, very exciting for Floridians!! Our adventure was very relaxed as we were able to set our own pace. Highly recommend this outfitter , very professional and knowledgeable.

My husband and I went on a private tour of Lamar Valley with Chris. We had an exceptional experience. It has been on our bucket list to see the wolves of Yellowstone and Chris did not disappoint! Chris was professional, punctual, and extremely knowledgeable about local wildlife and Yellowstone history. He took us to an overlook and set up 3 spotting scopes which allowed us to watch 24 wolves out in the distance. Chris was also able to help us spot mountain goats, a bison fight, elks bugling, prong horn, coyotes, and so much more. He showed us some off the beaten path places in Lamar Valley with exceptional views. Chris also recommended a great spot for us to head in Hayden Valley during sunset which ultimately led us to see four more wolves! Amazing! For anyone interested in viewing wildlife or the wonders of Yellowstone, I would highly recommend Yellowstone Guidelines!
Chris guided us through a perfect day in Yellowstone. He found a grizzly, 14 wolves, a mountain goat, elk, bighorns, coyotes, and a baby bison. Wonderfully impressive for early April! Chris was early, his vehicle immaculate, and the lunch was delicious! Chris is a superbly knowledgeable biologist who provides history, geology, and Yellowstone knowledge thoughout the trip. We couldn't imagine a better day in the park!!
Chris and Yellowstone Guidelines was an exceptional experience. I have been to Yellowstone many times before and it was totally worth spending 2 days on a private tour. Chris was knowledgeable of the area and extremely professional / flexible (even with my 4 year old). Was an amazing time and will definitely be recommending to friends!
Our guide Ken from West Yellowstone was fantastic. He helped us see all the animals we wanted and was extremely informative on all things Yellowstone. He was friendly and accommodating throughout the day. We saw 10 bears during the tour, Elk, Mountain Goats, Peregrine Falcon, Big Horn Sheep, Great Horned owls and chicks, Prong horns and babies, and of course a bunch of bison. I contacted Yellowstone Guidelines on the recommendation of a good friend. This friend assured me I'd be extremely happy with Chris or he would pay for my tour himself. Lucky for my friend, we could not have been happier with Chris. Travelling by myself with 4 kids was stressful and it was nice to hand over the reins to Chris for a day of seeing Yellowstone. He took us to parts of the park we would not have gone on our own and made sure the kids enjoyed themselves as much as I did. It was neat to watch the way he interacted with a network of professionals within the park to find wild animals. The highlight, however, was when we rounded a corner on the road and came across a moose grazing on the shoulder! It was really incredible! At first I thought the price was a little high (having never done a private tour before), but Chris added so much value that by the end of the day I felt like I'd gotten a bargain. I cannot recommend this company highly enough! Book with them and you will not regret it!
Excellent Safari Tour in Yellowstone and Chris is a great tour guide. A Must do if you want to visit Yellowstone.
Our tour was fantastic! We had a private wildlife tour with Phil. He was punctual, professional, knowledgeable and friendly. We were able to use their binoculars and telescopes to view amazing wildlife, especially the wolves! Yellowstone Guidelines knows exactly where to go to find these animals, and there are several we would have missed had we been on our own, like the mountain goats. I highly recommend this company.
