Disgraceful disreard for health & safety and general customer service skills. Mr owner has IT ground.and has no social skills. Mrs owner has an HR background and thinks all customers can be managed like staff. We stayed in the accommodation which was vile. I should have reported them to local EHO for the sub standard accommodation (broken 1st floors windows etc!) but forgot... the rats running around by the kitchen back door was delightful!! Puke.

A very pleasant spot to sit by a babbling brook in a Dartmoor beauty spot, of eat inside in a clean bright coffee house, with a simple but tasty menu. Very pretty surroundings. Takes well behaved dogs outside, tables, peacocks wandering!

From the moment you walk in the door until you leave, the customer service in this place is exemplary. I have always loved the cream teas here but more recently came for a meal. The quality of food was amazing and both my girlfriend and I loved it. I will come here again and again.

Last weekend we found this amazing place by accident but will be returning again as soon as possible. Friendly greeting by all staff and very clear guide to all their Covid guidelines. The choice of food was one of the best we have seen in a while, even for my husband who does not eat meat. Our starters were so delicious and a reasonable amount of time was left before my roast beef arrived. It was amazing with Yorkshire puddings and a really wide selection of vegetables and creamed horseradish. Unfortunately it beat me in the end and it must be one of the first occasions that I have not finished.a roast dinner. The dessert menu looked really good but we will have to return and not have a starter next time. Please let us know when you reopen.
