INCOMPETENT and RUDE! I tried to send three packages at this post office today and was “served” by a lady with a seriously unpleasant and unhelpful attitude. Apparently, this is an “outreach” post office that according to her “sometimes doesn’t allow them to do certain things” above basic stuff. Sending an international package with no tracking or anything special was one of those things that just couldn’t be done. I was told I should just take all three packages of my packages to another post office. When I confronted her with a question whether she knew what operations her branch could actually perform, she just dismissed it with “it changes all the time”. I managed to get her to accept one domestic parcel. After that, I insisted on trying to send the other international parcel to Ireland. After we established that it was the Republic of Ireland it was going to, she tried sending it as a domestic one, and I pointed out that it was meant to be an international package. Her eyes bulging, she borderline shouted at me “Well, not according to this, SO I’M NOT GOING TO DO IT!” At this point I just paid for the one domestic parcel and left. What a rude, unpleasant, unhelpful and unbelievably incompetent woman! Avoid at all costs.

Lovely owners and great place to pick up a cream tea to eat on your afternoon hike!

Rude and aggressive store staff on top of a mediocre and overpriced cream tea. Beware the arrogant and shouty male store attendant, he's particularly unpleasant and seems to enjoy shouting at his customers.

We were planning to stop and visit Postbridge, unfortunately we missed the visitor center car park turn and so pulled in front of the shop to turn round. A very rude man unloading his stock tersely told us it wasn't a roundabout and to move on, safe to say they did not get our custom. Interestingly a short time later after out stroll to the bridge, we noticed some locals parked in front of the shop chatting to the rude man. The moral of the story, the shop owner prefers the locals to visitors, so think on before you spend any of your hard earned cash in this shop!
