We were there on Monday Bank Holiday. There was a chain across the door way and they took your temperature before entering. We ate from the daily specials, I had calamari followed by swordfish and my husband had cod croquettes followed by rib eye steak. This was honestly one of the best meals we've had out in a while. The food was piping hot, beautifully presented and plentiful. We couldn't finish it, so no room for pudding lol . Our waitress, Paula, was really friendly and brought our drinks to the table. Definitely worth a visit, we'll be back x
Had a family Sunday lunch here yesterday which was frankly great! Was greeted by the landlord with an elbow pump(tick) followed by a temperature check (tick)and directed to socially spaced tables(tick). A cheery and helpful young man took our order and the food was good - healthy sized portions and nice n hot! We left early and were disappointed to do so. We will be back!
We have been to the pub several times for a sandwich at lunchtime and really enjoyed it so we decided to try an evening meal, unfortunately our meals were greasy and the eggs overcooked. Great service tho and the landlord is always fantastic.
