We stayed in The Lodge - Ideal little cottage for a couple to explore the area. We just stayed for for a few days as a spur of the moment thing. The lounge is a reasonable size with two good sized sofas. Bedroom is a couple of beds I think which zip together which means a very good sized double. The shower room has natural light from a light tube and a very good sized shower cubicle. It's an electric shower, not weedy like many and Although there's no dishwasher or washing machine (which we didn't miss), the kitchen is extremely well equipped with other appliances and utensils. The two cottages both face on to the house's garden. Parking is on a part of the lawn which has been reinforced with a grid (works fine for motorbikes too although you may want to bring a \puck\ for sidestand to be sure). Nice and secure off the street. There's a handy pub across the street which is a Godsend at the end of a long trip down. The co-op in nearby Yelverton has sufficient to cater for a week or you can go slightly further away to Tavistock for other supermarkets. Andrew and Carol were great hosts. Keen to ensure we had everything we needed and were comfortable. They also were very helpful in suggesting walks and showed us a terrific walk which we probably would not have found otherwise.
