Since Well Pharmacy took over from the Co-op, the service has gone downhill. The male pharmacist (Chris) is really helpful, but the majority of the shop staff seem to think they're doing you a favour by being there. If you try phoning from home to see if a prescription is ready it disconnects you after two minutes of ringing or ringing to engaged within two or three rings as if someone in the shop has picked it up and put it down. After 8 years of using them, our prescriptions will now be going to another pharmacy. Don't waste your time with this one!

Lovely pharmacist, such a nice caring & helpful man. Can be long wait times.

The pharmacist ( brown hair man), is superb, he always has time for people and is very empathetic, thorough and polite. The lady pharmacist is also polite. There seems to be a lack of process management and although they have clear procedures in place, they don’t appear to have a handle on dispensing medication. The GP surgery at Yelverton Is fantastic and they often send my prescriptions to the pharmacy within the same day. The pharmacy now say there’s a 72 hour wait from GP to pharmacy and a 48 hour wait from Pharmacy to dispensing medication. That’s 5 working days, and the truth is it takes the pharmacy that long and the ‘72 hours’ from the GP is nonsense. Obviously there is much more to pharmacy than serving at the till, however there still needs to be sufficient amount of service when the queue gets long. I was in the queue for 45 minutes last week. There’s a lovely lady ( middle age dark hair) who is very bubbly and helpful, I feel really sorry for her because she gets left to deal with constant stream of dissatisfied customers. There’s 100% a pseudo-hierarchy and 3 or 4 staff members who are reluctant ( at best) to support the front end. They clearly have enough people to manage busy times and they make it much worse because when you get to the till after 45 minutes they can’t find your prescription from 5 working days ago. Meaning the create more work than need be by not following the processes. I give it 3 stars because there are good levels of service from those mentioned. However it is falling well below standard in regards to other pharmacies I’ve used

The pharmacist is poliet but the rest of the staff are generally quite rude and unhelpful. The waiting times are also the worst I've had in any pharmacy.
