I go here every so often to collect Dogs from Rescueddogs4life as I have adopted two more from them, I even do Dog Fostering for them and handle the let say Dogs with some problems, so I help Rescueddogs4life by taking them home and train them so they can get the new loving home that these poor Dogs deserve. What a great stopover on our road trip for a camping holiday. Clean area and felt safe. Lots of picnic tables and trees. Takeaway food was excellent!!! Something hot and delicious to keep us going on the road. Good hot drinks too. Thank you!!! We're noting this one down for next time.
Great little stop for breakfast, they also cater for gluten free diets. Last time we decided to eat in and the lady who served us was lovely and welcoming. Try it!
Lovely cafe and stop off that was a much more enjoyable experience compared to most service parks. Refreshing to see an independent cafe rather than the predictable over priced chains. Great friendly service and delicious pasties. Covid measures mean outdoor seating only. Fortunately the weather was fine and there was plenty of picnic space.
Really lovely stop over, dog walking area, decent toilets and the cafe serves good quality burgers at reasonable prices. Highly recommended and welcome break (no pun intended) from the corporate service stations. One request only for the management to consider that prevented this being 5 stars, please consider allowing visitors to recycle rather than just needing to throw stuff away in the very available litter bins.
