Our 1st outing in over 12 months and oh my goodness. The volunteers are always wonderful and so very welcoming. The gardens can be lovely but unfortunately not this time. This is due to the cold spring so nothing NT could do. It was just so lovely to be out again and we had a picnic too

Pleasant enough garden, although it doesn't take very long to wander around. There is the usual NT cafe and small shop. We extended our visit by half an hour by strolling round the charming village using one of the trail leaflets provided.

Nice place to go Lots of different gardens, lots of plants, orchard and arboretum, ponds. Lovely setting. Helpful smiling staff. Had a lovely calm peaceful time here. Mistletoe growing in the carpark orchard at eye level in cherry trees. Cool.

An air of calm and tranquility surrounds you even as you park your car at NT's Tintinhull Gardens. A short walk alongside an ancient orchard with meadow flowers and grasses, mistletoe draped apple and medlar trees. Entering the cafe courtyard you are welcomed by NT volunteers and can choose to immediately have a refreshing beverage or idle in the local museum or wander through to the gardens. A selection of rooms are surrounded by orchard, arboretum and vegetable garden. Wandering back and forward in the different areas soothes the soul. Not really for an all day visit and lacking interest for smaller children but to while away some inspiring hours it cannot be beaten.

Beautiful gardens maybe small but very impressive. Would love to know what these plants are as I'd like them in my garden.
