I have worked with Newcross for around ten years. I have always found them to be supportive and helpful. I have had plenty of work and someone always at the end of the phone to give advice. I have never been charged for being off work due to sickness or any genuine issues that have prevented me from being able to work my shifts. I recommend Newcross highly as an agency. I am surprised with the negative comments, as everybody I have spoken to that work for Newcross Yeovil are all very positive and happy with Newcross and the way in which it is run. The manager is always helpful and the girls in the office are great

A fabulous company to work for. In my experience Newcross are a great professional company to work for providing excellent standards of care and looking after their staff. I love working for Newcross Yeovil, I have always had work, the clients have been happy and the staff at Yeovil and the manager are extremely helpful and lovely. I have had continued support since joining Newcross, through some difficult personal times and they have always gone out of there way to support me the best they can. They are very fair And in my experience will not charge you a pull out fee if you have a genuine and proven reason. I don’t know how these 1 star bad reviews have come about as I have worked for 2 different branches of Newcross in total now and I have been employed with Newcross 2 times and I have never experienced any problems mentioned or ever head of them! (Maybe it is competitors trying to sabotage the higher competition) I am looking forward to continuing my career with Newcross and I genuinely wouldn’t want to work for anybody else. Keep up the fab work Newcross Yeovil branch!

Terrible company for Carers, I have never used their caring services but I know from interview experience that this is a company to be avoided at all costs, they are a scam pretty much, they reel Carers in by telling them they will get a good wage, what they've actually done is included holiday pay onto your hourly rate to make it look like you're getting more then you are and when you go on holiday you get no wage, they tell you they will pay for training and then they charge you for it and you never receive the certificates saying you've done it. They told me they would be flexible and that i had to give two weeks notice for holiday which is fine but then later told me it would have to be six weeks notice because I was going to be with complex care, only after I'd finished the induction did they mention this, they fine Carers if they go sick and miss a visits, just imagine if you miss more then a few due to accident or emergency!, one person will assure you that will never happen and they do it in the rarest cases and then you hear from another that they jump on absences giving fines out immediately, stay far, far away if you are a carer, these people are deeply unpleasant and do not deserve you, don't be a pawn propping up a shameful company, please, say no to this type of behaviour and bullying from an agency and stick up for all of us!

Newcross are really nice and I have always find them supportive and helpful. I get lots of great shifts in Yeovil and would recommend joining, don't understand why negative comments have been made as all staff I meet say how good the branch is.

They dont treat there staff well they dont support you they also charge you if your ill join nurse plus or nurse line instead great support system
