Recently my lovely 12 year old cat, Summer, needed to have her left eye removed due to a deteriorating ulcer that was not getting better with medication. Throughout my whole experience with the Kingston Veterinary Group in Yeovil I can not find a negative thing to say about them. From the reception staff who were always professional, patient and kind, to Jordan who called me and explained things so well to me over the phone and was empathetic and understanding, to Ryan who was reassuring and very informative both before and after Summer's surgery, and of course Modestas who took great care of Summer and reassured me and explained things so well to me along the way. They all put up with me being emotional and tearful, and although they must see people upset all the time, I am just so thankful for the care and understanding I was shown, and for how well Summer was cared for. Pets are not just pets but apart of the family and to now see Summer so chilled, free of pain and happy is just the best result I could have hoped for and that's all down to the hard work, dedication and compassion they all put in. I could never thank them enough and would never think twice about trusting them in caring for my girl, Summer, and any future pets I may have. A massive thanks to you all!! I will be forever grateful.

To cut a long story short. My Boston Terrier needed surgery. I'm registered at this vets in Sherborne and my vet is fantastic ( Gemma ) so I was slightly reluctant to use another vet. However, Gemma put my mind at rest and I used the Kingston vet in Yeovil as they had the expertise to carry out the surgery. I was called a few days before the operation by Chris the surgeon, who introduced himself and talk me through the operation. On the day of the op ( today) he met me outside the vets, talked me through the procedure again and answered any questions or concerns that I had. During the day he called me 3 times, just to say what was happening, keeping me informed right along the way. I'm leaving this comment because I am so totally overwhelmed by the professional attitude of everyone in this group that I have come across. Kim on reception was so warm and welcoming, the lovely nurse who brought Evie out to me , every single person that I came in contact with were outstanding. I cannot praise this practice enough, the individuals, the service, the care. You are all outstanding !!!

Saw Modestas with my dog today, very informative and thorough. Very friendly and caring towards my dog, would recommend. Fairly priced compared to other vets I have used in the past.

We have been with Kingston for a few years and I love that are pets get to see the same vet and not a different one each time so they don’t seem to mind going. One of our dogs had to have his ligament operated on the care he has had is second to none, fantastic job THANK YOU
