Was in temporary 6 month accommodation for 2 and a half years as they say they had a computer error even tho I had phoned on numerous times to get told to check my agreement. My agreement said 6 month temporary accommodation. They then moved me into what I thought was a very lovely property that would accommodate our family needs which it does apart from. When we moved in they hadn't had time to do all the work that needed to. We were told this by the lady showing us around. There was a note to ring for someone to fit new cupboard doors as some was damaged. I rang the same day and was told someone be out to do it. 1 month later I rang and the cupboard doors had been used on another job so had to wait longer. When they did come they changed the easiest doors and left leaving a door damaged that I prob will get charged for later down the line. Front and back doors leak so haven't been able to lay carpet in 3 years because they leak water they send a plumber to fix the problem. 2/3 times the plumber has been out and made it worse and has said himself I can't fix this you need new doors which was promised to us when the new windows were fitted 2 years ago but didn't happen. Still waiting for repairs to be done. We have yellow ceilings that surveyors have reported to yarlington whilst doing work for them and all that that happens is a painter and decorator comes and sprays sealant then goes. The yellow stain soon reappears. 9 time out of 10 you book repairs then they get closed to say they have been out and repaired it but yarlington don't fix it they just cover it up leaving you with the stress reporting faults that don't get fixed. It feels if I want a normal happy home i have to pay to get things fixed properly myself or continue to suffer with the stress.
Tried to contact Abri on 31st December regarding an urgent problem with one of their properties. There was no facility on their web site and when I tried to call them I was redirected to an emergency number which no one answered. Not happy!
They are an awful association. I have had no TV signal for over a year because they refuse to come and do the repair. I have had so much go wrong with my property and they have no interest in helping the tenants atall.
