Beautiful place one of Yeovil best of a few, plenty of different paths to choose a lovely walk with dogs, children and family. Nice coffee shop too and parking is ample

Amazing little find just in Yeovil. We took a picnic but there is a small place by care park to buy sandwiches and drinks. There are also toilets you can use. Parking cost 2.15 for 2.5 hours. Definitely worth a visit, you can dogs as well but must be kept on the lead.

Yeovil, a much maligned town which has seen better days, is at least blessed with its own country park and the walk from town to Pen Mill Station through the park is especially delightful. On the other side not far from the South Somerset Council Offices is an interesting monument in the shape of a wired head with small plaques at the base depicting quotes of mental health. Like almost all places, the park gets uncomfortably packed during the summer months so it's wise to pick your times.

Such a pretty place to walk, there's something to discover around each corner. The dogs loved it too, especially all the water. Even in the rain it was lovely.

Lots of nice little waterfalls and pools of water to look at. It can be a bit muddy so make sure you wear appropriate footwear if it's been raining!
