Really great place for the kids and a nice place to sit and enjoy an al fresco dining outing. Fish and chips and Thai just across the road, both providing good take away. Other coastal towns could take note.

Something else that looks like it should be at an exclusive resort is the water playground tracing the shore along Anzac Parade. The zero-depth Keppel Kraken has a load of interactive elements like jets, water cannons, fountains and the only umbrella bucket to be found in Queensland. All these features are colourfully painted in indigenous styles and centre on a tentacle belonging to mythical sea creature emerging from the ground. Surrounding the Keppel Kraken are timber decks and custom-designed picnic benches beneath swaying palms.

My young ones love this place. Suitable for all ages, but probably most fun for babies to 10 year old.
Its a lovely place for kids to play, nice views of the ocean and free wifi. Hoping that they add abit more to the water play equipment.
