We are young people from different parts of Armenia, having completely different social and political views have met in “Youth Leadership School” organized by NDI and became friends during the course. While studying, we’ve learned about the social and political problems - their individuality and importance. We were inspired by the ideology of "Hrant Dink"​, so we decided to found Like a Dove initiative group. The aim of the initiative was to raise social problems to make human life better. Ever since the initiative group was found we have arranged exhibitions both in Yerevan and Gyumri dedicated to one of the most painful problem – Emigration. We’ve arranged events against the genocide and terrorism. We were for the freedom of speech, solidarity and tolerance. As our sphere became wider we decided to found an official organization, so we established "We For Democracy"​ Humanitarian Non-Governmental Organization.
