Back in 2008 I had a recurrent airplane ear, or mild barotrauma. The \doctors\ here diagnosed me with some sort of psychiatric disorder and prescribed me drugs that would have made things much worse. After doing a balance test, they insisted I had some kind of mental issue that was stress-related. I was very scared/surprised but they were quite confident with their diagnosis. That day I spoke with a coworker who had experienced similar symptoms. She knew the drugs they had prescribed and recommended that I not take them but first see an otorhinolaryngologist that treated her symptoms. This doctor correctly diagnosed and treated me by delivering a puff of air through some tubing in my ear and nose. No drugs. The doctors at Yokkaichi Hospital wanted to write me off as a stress case and were quick to try and medicate me - I narrowly avoided a horrible experience. I DO NOT RECOMMEND their ear/nose/throat specialists if they're the same people who were working in 2008.

口腔外科外来受診(紹介状あり) 8時半に受付後約1時間程で初診、さらに1時間後に別の先生の診察後会計待ち約15分程とかなりスムーズ(私にとっては)に診て頂けました。 今回は問診と触診のみでしたが、丁寧に診て頂き話もしっかり聞いて頂けました。また、今後の治療方針や段階的に診療を変えていくなどの説明も有り、個人的には安心してお任せ出来ると感じました。 駐車場が少しわかり辛かったのですが少し離れたドラッグストア横の駐車場が一番近くて便利だと思います。(病院敷地内にある入ってすぐの駐車場は全て車椅子専用駐車場なので気を付けてください) コロナ感染対策として入口で検温と消毒、また受付でもさらに検温の確認などしっかりされてました。

家族の入院付き添いで行き、病院入口での検温は異常がなかったのに、強烈に暖房をかけた病棟で再度検温させられて発熱を計測。コロナの疑いをかけられて帰されました。帰宅後に他の病院を受診して当然ながらコロナは陰性。市立という名前に胡座をかいた“俺様”的な感じで、まともな状況判断も出来ない、時間と金を使わせるだけの病院。星１も勿体ないレベル。

初診紹介状有りで耳鼻科受診。同じ条件で行った県立医療センターとは比べ様のない程、検温の方初診受付診療科受付看護師、先生が普通にいい人ばかりでした。無事に検査予約ができてよかったです。
