This school is GREAT. Quick & easy inspiring education. You get your feet wet real fast with the hands on by the amazing teacher Steve. He really loves he's job & shares a lot of knowledge with the students. Nardo the theory teacher is great with the abundance of knowledge & experience he provides. I feel great with the knowledge and & experience that I have gotten here and at such a quick amount of time that now I can land an apprentice position in this new industry. I was scared to go back to school after all these years considering that this will be my second career. But these guys & school made it super easy. such a divers bunch of students I had too :)

I completed the construction technologies program from this academy. They first teach you the theory about everything related to most construction concepts that you need to know to start working on the field followed by hands on experience where we worked with all different kind of power and hand tools, saws and blades that teaches you how to use, clean and maintain your tools and the site in a safe manner. I would definitely recommend this for someone who is passionate about learning construction intermediate and to a certain level advanced ways of completing a demolition or construction project. The management is very friendly and supportive. They keeps a check on your learning to make sure you understand everything.
I recently completed the full time construction technology program at the York Construction Academy and had a great experience! Nardo was an exceptional and passionate instructor and made sure that everybody understood what was being taught. The practical instructor, Steve, was also fantastic and had a mountain of patience and was extremely knowledgeable. Vlad was a great administrator and was very helpful. I recommend this school and program to anybody interested.
Gave me an opportunity to learn part-time on weekends. Both theory and practical instruction is lead by experienced, knowledgeable, and effective professionals. It's not easy to combine industry skill with teaching ability but they've done it. Positive experience all round. Fellow students become trusted colleagues!
I received the opportunity to take the Construction Technology course from my union and I am extremely glad that I did. Vlad, the owner, was very welcoming and accommodating. He was also a big presence throughout the practical part of the course and made sure that proper safety precautions were taken. Nardo was my instructor for the theoretical part of the course. He was very knowledgeable and open to any questions about the course material and questions outside of the material (relating to construction, of course) and made the online portion, which I was initially skeptical about, quite enjoyable through his deep knowledge and humour. Steve was my instructor for the practical part of the course. He was very laidback and supportive throughout the course. He was also quite knowledgeable and shared his real world experiences in construction with the students regularly - two words: cabinet scraper. I was also very lucky to have a supportive and easy going crew. Thanks York Construction Academy for giving me more confidence and knowledge!
