As others have said the man working here is absolutely vile. Funnily enough I was on my phone looking at these reviews when he came over and (quite rudely) said no taking pictures... I said "don't worry I'm not taking any pictures" and he threw me out the shop hahaha. He was so aggressive I genuinely thought he might hit me (he probably would have if it wouldn't get him arrested or sued). This guy honestly deserves a good smack around the face for the way he treats people.

Basil Fawlty of the Gallery world!! my partner was told off for not leaving the moment the gallery assistant/owner said he was closing. I have worked in the gallery business for over twenty years and have never experienced anything like it. There should be a hidden camera it would make great viewing!
The most rude obnoxious gentleman I have ever had the misfortune to meet! If you want my advice take your money down the road to York Fine Art or Braithwaites
We purchased a print. Really friendly staff. Some interesting stuff.
After a lovely Thai curry I fancied some PREMIUM art, upon entry I was given a disturbing stare. This mans aura is extremely negative and I fear he may be working with the pope or prince Andrew. His art is cursed, after leaving this place I fell ill and had dreams of been trapped in his store. TREAD CAREFULLY
What a silly little discriminatory man who work (owns maybe looking at previous reviews!?) Prices are absurd. - don’t buy from here. You can get them with nice frames off the internet for half the price (King & McGaw). Unsurprising that there’s a ‘liquidation sale’ at the moment.
Visited briefly back in July to enquire about the Bluebird at Bonneville framed print. My dad saw this and he really liked it, so me and my mum were going to treat him, as he’s recently just beaten stage IV Cancer. It was a striking piece of artwork and my dad loves all things automotive. I go inside the shop where the man is sat to the right of the door on a laptop. I ask about the price as the print only had a half price sticker on it, no physical price label. I just said to the guy “excuse me can you tell me how much the bluebird car picture is in your window” Then he abruptly and sarcastically said “How much do you think it’s worth?” I just said to him “I don’t know thats why I’m asking about the price of it”. Then he said “come back when you think you know what its worth”. At this point I just walked out the shop as I couldn’t cope with anyone like that and he then shouted to my dad through the door “He doesn’t seem to like banter very much does he?” This whole encounter wasn’t funny at all, just an absolute cringe fest from beginning to end. I guess he obviously isn’t that bothered about any sales since most of the artwork in the window hasn't ever changed in years and the other reviews of the place are abysmal. In this current COVID climate, especially in regards to unnecessary purchases such as artwork, dealers should be bending over backwards for customers in order to try and get a sale, not insulting them.
I was forcibly removed from the store for not wearing a mask, I tried to explain to him that I am exempt because of my disability but he was not having any of it and removed me from the store in a forceful manner. He must be fun at parties.
