I seen dr. Gilhool for a neck issue, my experience with him was absolutely fabulous he treating you like a human being asked you if you had any questions explain the procedure took the time to explain everything I think he is a very kind-hearted human being and a very good surgeon. I have a lot of respect for him thank you for trying to help me the best that you can!

I had a consult and then a procedure done on my spine. Dr. Gilhool was absolutely fantastic and knew that I wanted to get straight to minimizing my pain. He explained everything, asked if I had any questions or concerns and even escorted me back to the pre-op room after the procedure was done. I would highly recommend his service.

Aggressive, does not listen, very condescending and puts everyone in the same cookie cutter mold for evaluation and treatment. I don't like being negative but this is a Doctor you do not want to be seen by

Worst experience ever. Started out giving information to a nurse, then to what appeared to be a first-year resident who examined me so quickly, I struggled to follow his directions or respond. Then Dr. Gilhool appeared and said \Do you have any questions?\ Since he'd never laid eyes on me before, I would think HE would have some questions. When I asked if we would have time for a discussion, he frowned and said, \About what?\ When I tried twice to explain that I had a complicated history, he said, \Didn't you discuss that with Dr. Resident?\ I left.

My son was sent to Dr. Gilhool when his concussion symptoms did not improve. For reasons I can't fathom, Dr. Gilhool was aggressive and antagonistic, and my son and I left feeling more helpless than when we went in. We cancelled our follow-up appointment with him due the the overwhelmingly negative effect left from the first appt. I can think of nothing positive regarding the experience, and my son is still struggling with his symptoms.
