On 26/10/20 I took my car in to Evans Halshaw Peugeot York for a mot and service the car is 3 years old and I had a service plan so should of been no problem. An hour after dropping the car off I received a phone call telling me that I would need the brakes doing and this would cost over 600 on top of the service plan as you can imagine I was not happy. A little later the receptionist phone back and said they could do it for over 500 I still was not happy so she said she’d see what she could do. The third phone call came soon after with a quote for 365 because they would use cheaper parts. I asked them to get the mot test done and see how that came back it came back passed with no problems. When I asked how it passed when they said it needed all this work the said they didn’t know. When I arrived in the morning I got quoted 40 for the mot but the actual bill was 55.85 and they couldn’t print a receipt off as the printer wasn’t working but they would send it on to me 2 weeks later and still no receipt. I do feel that they are just trying to get as much money out of customers as they can. I was also going to look at getting another new car from them but will never trust them again. Their customer service is in my opinion minus 5.

Would like to say a big thank you to Mark Bowden who worked tirelessly to get me into the new 208 GT Line that I wanted. Nothing was too much for him. He made the whole process care free and if I could give him 10 stars I would. A real asset to the company and Peugeot brand.

I have had an on going issue since i bought my car 15 months ago. It has previously spent 6 days trying to get the problem sorted. It went in again today for a service but the ongoing problem has still not being sorted it has to go in again for another 2/3 days.
