Great place to get your parts and service...treated me like I have been doing business there for years even though it was my first visit...prices are fair and repairs were done well and explained to me... definitely be referring FIVE STAR to anyone needing parts or repairs... Five Star International of York has had at least one outstanding mechanic. The mechanic I am speaking of does his repairs right and doesn't just try to get trucks quickly back out on the road. It is very hard to find a really good mechanic who actually does quality work and cares about the safety of the drivers and others on the road. I will definitely recommend Steve with five stars.
POOR BUSINESS PRACTICES. UNPROFESSIONAL. The service rep sent an initial estimate, then later sent a separate poorly written additional list of parts and labor nearly 3/4 the amount of the initial estimate. He didn't include an explanation of how things were overlooked, or how the additional parts were needed. He said he made the initial written estimate without looking at the truck which is obviously never a wise thing to do. The work was just done, so we don't know if it was quality yet.
