We looked everywhere for a perfect 1st edition in wrapper of Enid Blyton's 'First Term at Malory Towers' (1946). Three generations of girls (so far) have grown up with this story. The staff is not only very qualified in antiquarian and rare books, their speciality, they are also very friendly and always willing to help. On occasions I also used their shipping services and the delivery of the books has always been impeccable, fast and secure. Their new location, just around the corner from the train station, makes it very handy for those like me who do not live in York and want drop in for a browse through their always new acquisitions.
