Not a bad dining experience. The food was plentiful, the staff was attentive and friendly. I had the fish and chips with coleslaw. I substituted the fries for onion rings which were good. If your drink gets half empty you will get a refill. The bathroom was clean and the only negatives the floor was dirty. Besides that a pleasant dining experience.

Usually come to the Metro Diner for their awesome breakfast; but, today we opted for an early dinner. The atmosphere can't be beat this is a nice busy laid back place where you can enjoy the food and superb service. Our meals were hot, fresh and perfectly prepared. The salmon was delicious! So happy we stopped for dinner instead of breakfast. We love coming to the Metro Diner!
I’ve driven past this place several times however I decided to eat here today and see what sort of atmosphere this diner had to offer. I ordered the chipped beef and gravy for breakfast. You get a choice of toast, home fries or hash browns. You can even do a half and half, with say, toast and hash browns which is what I did. Full disclaimer here. I usually end up putting salt on much of my food. Not this morning. The chipped beef is made with cayenne pepper, giving it a real light but nice kick. I really like the consistency of the gravy as well, it wasn’t runny or soupy. The hash browns were crispy, not raw and the toast was not over toasted. The cup of coffee was served in a fairly sizable mug, larger than most places. They even gave me a cup to go. My food was served immediately and I have to say, the staff do a wonderful job of making sure their customers have their needs met. My server pointed out the specials for the morning (on the wall). Additionally, when I ordered my food, she was kind enough to point out the fact that the chipped beef had a kick to it. She really went out of her way to give me great service. Prices are reasonable for the area and there is plenty of parking with handicap parking. The interior of the place is very clean. Tables have placemats, cutlery and menus and a nice condiment caddy. Floors don’t look scuffed up or dirty, they look very well taken care of. All in all, I highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a nice breakfast. Between the food, service and atmosphere, the Metro Diner has it all.
We have a great experience every time we come here. Service is always great and the food is spectacular. They serve everything from breakfast to dinner all the time. They always have specials for the day as well. Definitely recommend!
We had a great experience as usual. Wife had creamy chipped beef on home fries. I had a Reuben sandwich. Could have made 2 meals out of it. We have never left here hungry... Ever! They don't skimp on your plate. I've tried breakfast, lunch, and dinners here. Always delicious and friendly staff. Service was quick on a Thursday at 11:00 am. Bathroom was clean with baby changing station in men's. Prices are good for this much food. Don't miss this place.
We frequent this joint. Its usually good. The chicken & waffles are great, the burgers are good also. I got the Monte Cristo again. This time though they really skimped out on the meat. Please see the photos. Now it usually isn’t like this, so I will be back assuming this was a one time less than par experience. Come on Metro, I am counting on you!
The food is always delicious. Here is the fried chicken sandwich and white meat chicken salad sandwich.
Service and food was great. Our waitress Elisha was fantastic! Will be coming back to try the waffles next time!
