Only recently moved to York and with me living so close to the river and so many lakes I decided to take fishing up again after a 15 year sabbatical. Iv never met such nice shop owners, both of them are more than happy to give tips on good Fishing spots along the river and have a very good knowledge of the local lake, as well as fish stocks in them

After having a disaster with my rod bag breaking and in desperate need for a new one, I decided to look online what can I say after coming across this place the lady has bent over backwards to make sure I have a new bag for my next fishing outing in a couple days time. Whot a fantastic shop for all your fishing needs. The Staff are so friendly and welcoming. You can even park outside shop for free. Great out of town location. Highly recommended
