The motorcycle ride from Perth to York was amazing. This lookout is pretty nice with open views. There is plenty of parking available. You can bring your kids and family to this place. Make sure to pack some sandwiches and drinks when you decide to come here as there is a bench that you can sit on and enjoy your food. I am giving three stars as I have seen much better views.

Phenomenal view over York and beyond. Easy to access by vehicle or by the walking track from the town. A must see.
Pretty impressive mountain. Easy to get to by car and the views are excellent.
A must see if you're visiting York. A short drive from the centre of town the lookout offers views over the town and across the surrounding wheat belt. If you're a cyclist (I am) it's an excellent challenge and heart starter!
Went during late August period, were able to see some patches of canola flowers blooming atop the lookout. Nice scenic view with a decent hiking trail.
Nice place to be by yourself and appreciate miles of outback bushland.
Even though it isn't canola season in December, there are still great views of York from this lookout. Super peaceful and quiet too
