Sign on the door that said masks are required for entry but upon entering the building we noticed that the majority of people inside including employees were not wearing masks, and there was no enforcement of mask policies. It also didn’t appear that any extra covid precautions were being taken. Other than that, the facility has been updated since the last time I was there years ago and looks pretty nice, and the staff were very friendly. However, if you want to feel “covid safe” I wouldn’t recommend coming to Roller way.

My daughters and I skate at both Roll R Way locations and both are very nice, friendly staff, owners are nice friendly people always working to accommodate the customers and bring in new attractions for the community, they also give back by having free skates and serious discounts several times a month, these are very family friendly rinks. The floors at both rinks are great, York location is concrete but very nice to skate on and well maintained, the Chambersburg locations has one of the best wood floors in the state and also well maintained. The food is rink food the prices are fair, really you're there to skate not eat but if you need a bite while your there it works, I'll never understand complaints about rink food left on reviews. Honestly if you have a problem at these rinks it's likely you are the problem, these guys and staff go above and beyond all the time for their customers and the communities they're based in. Choose your times to visit based on the experience you want, the weekend night skates are obviously going to be majority teens, the music is suited to them, and they skate fast, they are there to have fun and blow off steam as they should, if you're more family oriented with smaller kids go during the weekdays, Sundays are family days and suited for just that, also during the day Saturdays is a good time, We frequently travel to several different rinks in and outside of Pa and these are two of the best without question,

I love the look of the place very modern. Music is great. And I like this set up where the slow skaters are on the outside and the first skaters are on the inside so that way it’s not a struggle for the slow skaters to exit the rink. I come with kids and this is one of the skating rink’s that I feel like my kids are most likely not going to get plowed over

This place has been here forever and has seen some rough times and great times. They recently update the majority of the rink, and seem to be making improvements after several years of heading downhill. I'd still say they have work to do, with the Snack Bar being the biggest drawback. It's a fairly average place, very clean, great floor and sound system. Family Sundays are a huge plus!!
