Conveniently located with a big car park and nice big indoor area. Some splendid looking plants, and also reasonably priced and attractive Christmas wreaths. Café looked attractive and with a good priced menu. Shall have to return to sample the café as I had already eaten elsewhere, but anywhere that offers home made soup and home made cake is a winner for me. The man I spoke to who served me was courteous and pleasant, but there was a decidedly frosty and brusque reception from another staff member. I am fully aware December is not the best time for plants and gardens but good photographs, andom\ or not, can still be had, whatever the season. I had checked with the helpful gentleman first if it was ok to take photographs and had been given a happy thumbs up. So I feel the other staff member maybe needs to hone their customer liaison skills and drop the confrontational bristley attitude. After all, any photographs taken are only ever meant to help promote the business concerned.

Really friendly staff and lovely little place. They are small but I prefer that to other places as it means the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Also lovely friendly cat!
