Freezing cold , air con/ heater not working. Staff abrupt and rude. Refused to give me a heater. The owner told me to leave because I complained about how rude the receptionist treated me. Turns out the receptionist who was very rude and unhelpful is the mother of the owner so that's why. Awful place, horrible experience.
Rude staff, lumpy bed, not worth the cost! Will not be returning!

Stayed here for two months while doing my regional work. Such a beautiful place and loved chilling by the pool! Deb is so lovely and helpful.
Very rude staff and receptionist was extremely rude saying that I could not have a heater near the room since I would apparently burn down the place after I am a nurse very freezing cold
Members from our Croquet Club in WA, attended the York Doubles Croquet Golf Tournament. We all stayed at Swann Lodge. We were made very welcome by Peter and had a lovely cooked breakfast each day by Debbie, who also advised of places to visit if we had time. We enquired if we bought meat for BBQ, if there were facilities available and could we use on Sunday as we thought that would be nice to have on our last day of the tournament. Arriving back at the Lodge after a long and very cold day. Everything was laid out for us. Plates, Cutlery, Condiments and a nice Gas Fire. Such a very personal touch and was not expected. Members also enjoyed a game of Mini Golf. Thank you Debbie and Peter for wonderful weekend. We will be back.
