5 stars if the fish actually had batter. Let's take a step back shall we, We ordered here after convincing my family that the Leeds market branch was the best fish I ever had which yes it was. Tonight we ordered and we noticed scraps was not on the menu so my mother put it in the description or whatever it is called to include scraps when it came the fish looked half battered with scraps thrown on top of it. This didn't happen at the Leeds market branch so why here? Apart from this the fish was as good as the Leeds one I had. We may order again so a 5th star is possible if this mistake is not repeated. I am all for one off's apart from this one issue which stopped it being PERFECT. delivery time was spot on. Take care Lexus.

Fish was good, but chips were few in number, limp, greasy and frequently black. There must have been 3 tbsp of liquid grease in the bottom of the packet when we opened it up at home. Would seriously consider going elsewhere next time.

Fantastic fish and chips. Cooked to order but really quick so the fish stays nice and moist unlike some we've had in other places which have been really dry. Staff pleasant and shop clean and have taken all precautions due to covid. Well worth a visit if looking for great fish n chips

Great fish and chips, friendly, busy service. Good packaging - the jumbo haddock was perfectly cooked and stayed crispy after a 10 minute walk home. Salt and pepper squid good too. \Chinese\ curry sauce got too thick quite quickly while eating, but they do have two alternative curry sauce types which we'd try next time!
