The Hotham Arms stands out from the crowd when it comes to pub restaurants. They offer high quality food, good value for money, and with a good range of meat and fish options. Beth, our server, and the chef were fantastic and very accomodating to our needs as vegetarians. The outdoor nooks are very cosy whilst giving you the chance to enjoy the sun. The decor is tasteful and traditional with some whacky elements, like doors for table tops outside or clowns hanging from the ceiling! My advice for them to push this to the top for me is... Be more adventurous with your vegetarian choices! Butternut squash risotto and mushroom stroganoff are the uninspiring standard I see on many vegetarian menus. We came for the very unique \veggie cakes\ promised on your website and you'd taken them off your menu! (though many thanks for making them anyway!!!) Without a doubt though, would recommend for a casual meal or special occasion!!!

I've wanted to visit here for a while as I've heard so many great things about it. Let me tell you I wasn't disappointed in the least. What a wonderful place. I loved it. The real ale was lovely and just what I like. As for the food, it was perfectly cooked a d delicious. I'll definitely be going back. Highly recommended

Three of us booked for lunch on 28th August 2020. Welcomed as we entered and shown a table. Sanitizer used as we entered and social distancing evident. Ordered our meals, drinks, and deserts. Wow. Sooo delicious, well presented, and friendly and prompt service. Really quite impressive in wonderful comfotable restaurant. Will definitely book again. Thank you so much.

We had a really enjoyable lunch at The Hotham Arms. They have got the social distancing spot on and most customers were acknowledging it sensibly. The food was excellent and the staff were both welcoming and efficient. I feel that this well run pub will breed success and booking will be a must. Well done.
