Food was great and very good portion. staff were all very friendly. Nice surrounding with good vibes. If you like medium rare steak, let them know. As we ordered medium rare. It was quite raw inside. But tasted great still. maybe a medium will come out medium rare.

A wonderful Saturday arvo spent in York and enjoyed the vibrancy of this place especially out in the courtyard where the Rock n Roll Express were entertaining and everyone in town seemed to be out dancing! Decent pub grub and a lovely rosé to pass the time. I'd say it's the best pub in town.
Great home-made chips. Tea served in a Pot (was missing hot water refill).. A choice of dining alfresco or indoors. Service with a smile.
Beautiful old pub, very tastefully restored. Really enjoyed visiting York and the Imperial Homestead, but the highlight of all was the food.. We had a curry share platter that was as good as any I've had from an authentic Indian Restaurant. Serving sizes were as generous as you expect from a Country Pub, but the quality of the meals are more in common with a gourmet city restaurant. We'll be back!
Very nice historical setting. We sat outside undercover on the long benches and watched everyone chilling in a great outdoor area on a busy Easter long weekend. Service was slow but we were told this and did get our food before advice. The staff worked tirelessly to keep everyone happy and were run off their feet. Food was good, the bruschetta I especially enjoyed.
Great menu. Top beer garden/outdoor eating area. Food was really good.
Had a casual function there. Really nice outdoor area with covered areas for shade, excellent food must have an awesome chef!!
Spare ribs, awesome. Recommend to go up stairs, was very quiet.
