A few months ago I bought a pair of Brooks trainers from here as I was about to start a new waitressing job and wanted a pair of comfy shoes to work in. I can't thank the person who served me (didn't get his name unfortunately) enough for sorting me out with these shoes. They're perfect - just finished 9 days on the trot and my feet feel no pain or tiredness and I can only put that down to the quality of the trainers and the recommendation. Would 100% come back again and would recommend anybody to go there even if you aren't running!

Try before you buy in shop treadmill. Experience staff , got two pair one good for running the the for walking. Gave me a good deal happy days.
Great shop for runners of all kinds; from beginners to semi-pro, road, trail and fell. Particularly good for shoes, they have a computerised treadmill to analyse your running style and therefore help you to choose the best type for your needs. All other equipment is catered for from warm weather clothing, through hydration and trail packs to waterproofs. Staff are knowledgeable and helpful, whilst their prices are very fair (especially in their sales). Thoroughly recommended.

Felt quite rushed when going through the options. Was also disappointed to find out that the shoes I purchased came in multiple widths- I was not told that. I also wasn’t given a proper fitting (gait analysis was provided) despite making it clear that I was new to running. Simply presented with one price point of shoe and no alternatives, this was despite asking for recommendations at a different price. Overall this was unfortunate because I have heard many good reviews about the shop from friends. However, I would not purchase shoes here again. 4 stars because of gait analysis and because I feel this may have just been an off day and I have not heard of anyone I know having this sort of experience at the store.
Excellent service. No upsell, just the best shoe for the job. Absolute bargain that they were on sale too.
