The best racecourse in the North. Brilliant welcome for owners under Covid restrictions. Lovely three course meal in the restaurant with excellent service.

This is a great place to walk your dog. Safe and away from the road. Path round with plenty of open green space to let your dog run and play. Has a tendency to flood in the winter months. Watch out in the summer if it's a hot day. No shelter for the pooch unless you head for Knavesmire wood.

York racecourse offers the best facilities and days racing experience that I've attended. Particularly the excellent Ebor festival where the quality of racing is unmatched in the North over 4 days. Entry prices are very reasonable - free parking. The bus service to and from the course from the train station is really well organised and not much waiting times experienced. The bar and catering choice is vast and of excellent quality. Exactly what you'd expect from the Norths Premier track. A superb place to enjoy a day out with family and friends. The viewing is exceptional and provides a great atmosphere. For a day at the races, for me, there's non better than York

Fantastic experience at the ebor event loved every minute. Atmosphere was amazing. Expensive for beers about 6 quid a pint. But what a brilliant place. Great views at finish line and parade ring were excellent. Had I've cream for 2.70 which was really good. Can't wait to go again
